First Steps Language Ladder Cards, Word/Phrase/Sentence Cards, and Mats (replacement item)

This set of materials promotes decoding single CVC words, as well as decoding VC/CVC words and T.R.I.C.K.y (sight) words in phrases and sentences. Students learn about phrases, sentence structure, and punctuation.

The materials include 20 photo cards, 10 word/phrase/sentence cards on colored cardstock, and 4 mats. These language cards provide effective instruction prior to reading decodable text.
